Software Ecosystem

Applications, websites, packages, utilities and reusable tools represented in my public software portfolio.

Academic Website

v6.0.0-rc.2 "Bold River"

2026–present

Next.js replacement for bgonzalezbustamante.com and continuation of the academic website maintained in academic-kickstart. Current release: v6.0.0-rc.2 "Bold River" (6 Oct 2026); previous release: v6.0.0-rc.1 "Swift Harbour" (1 Oct 2026). The website is deployed from validated main to bgonzalezbustamante.com via Netlify.

Catholic Calendar

v0.1.0-beta.1 "Crystal Falcon"

2026–present

A reusable Roman Catholic calendar proof of concept built in TypeScript. It derives selected movable celebrations and periods, applies a curated set of General Roman Calendar precedence and transfer rules, and exposes the resulting state through a compact display API, an interactive tester and a Year Overview.

Research Dashboard

v1.0.0-rc.3 "Bold Ridge"

2026–present

A personal research-management dashboard for papers, projects, conferences, teaching, software, working hours, research planning, collaboration, and cross-module analytics. Research Dashboard is also the canonical administrative source for selected academic metadata used by public downstream applications.

Weekly Penguin Timeline

v0.1.0-beta.2 "Summer Cedar"

2026–present

A standalone proof-of-concept for a reusable Next.js weekly timeline component. It converts public daily working-time and coffee data into one Oxford-colour, kawaii-style penguin state per day. This repository is intentionally separate from academic-website. Development and review happen here before any future integration.

Academic Kickstart

v5.4.9

2019–2026

This repository contains the legacy implementation of my personal academic website, developed using Hugo and Academic Kickstart/Wowchemy. It served as the website's codebase until its replacement by a new Next.js implementation in October 2026. The repository is preserved for historical reference, including its original source code, configuration, development history and documentation.
