This book chapter synthesises the talk presented in the round table entitled “Social Networks: Communicational Tools for the Political Activism” in the framework of the Political Activism and Digital Media Seminar organised by the Instituto Igualdad in Santiago, Chile, November 27, 2013. That talk showed partially the findings of a forthcoming article which will be published in the Argentinian Political Science journal were presented. This work was awarded with the Comunicracia Prize in 2013.
